I'm born in New Zealand. My father is Samoan (born in Auckland) and my mother is Samoan as well (born in Christchurch).

I am part of a trial period in which they are trying out students to be blog commenters, which means it is my first experience with this sort of position. However, I did complete the Summer Learning Journey as a student in previous years.
I enjoyed reading your pepeha and with it, learning a little bit about your heritage. it is awesome that you are Samoan. Do you practice or abide by any of the Samoan customs and traditions? I am Tongan, and though I have embraced and nurtured the culture since infancy, I feel I have only just scratched the surface and have so much more to learn about.
