Body 1
Supratidal or Splash zone
|
The Supratidal zone is the area directly above the high tide mark.
It gets covered by ocean and water, during thunder and king tide. ( king tide is like a massive wave. It is not a tsunami.) Other times they get dry by a spray of the crack waves. hence is a another word for ‘splash zone.’ |

- Middle Tide Zone
- Low Tide Zone
|
In the Intertidal zone there are tides that are called, High tide, mid tide and low tide.
The high tide is known ‘Splash Zone.’ The Splash Zone is the outside of the ocean, the middle tide is just where student can swim. finale the low tide it’s deep, but for the parents it is not, well if your tall as well it not that deep. |
Body 3
Subtidal zone
|
There are two sub words for the zone, Sbtidal and Sublittoral.
The subs are the area directly below in the Intertidal zone. Stay beneath the low tide forever. The zone is more stable then the Intertidal zone |
